Started in 2021 by Daniel Schneider, Black Dog Trivia was inspired by the namesake quizmaster, Louie (the four-legged one in the photo).

Black Dog’s trivia games cover a wide range of topics, from history and science to pop culture and everything in between. With new themes added daily, you’re always guaranteed to have a ball! Not seeing your favorite topic represented? Drop us a line, and if it makes Louie’s tail wag, we may build it into our schedule.

What about prizes, you ask? Black Dog Trivia boasts a range of local Santa Barbara sponsors, meaning the prizes get shaken up more than Louie after a day at Hendry’s Beach. Aside from the fame and glory that comes with winning one of our trivia nights or built-in mini-games, you might win gift cards to local spots, free drinks or something else entirely!

Ultimately, the point of Black Dog Trivia is to have fun! Hence one of our very fews rules: if you don’t know the answer, write something funny!
A good sense of humor might just get you a funny prize.
